Ira Prodanov, University of Novi Sad, Academy of Arts, Department of Musicology and Ethnomusicology

Ira Prodanov, PhD musicologist is full time professor at the Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. Areas of her competences are European and Serbian music of 20th and 21st-century music. She investigates interdisciplinarity in music, especially relationship of music and media, music and religion, theory and practice of popular music. She regularly lectures Life Long Learning courses accredited by Serbian Institute for Advancement of Education in the field of transferring knowledge, communication and presentation skills and popular music. She has published several books and more than 50 scientific papers. She has introduced a new master program Music and Media at her faculty within the frame of Tempus InMusWB project.
